Fruits, underwood, animalistic note. Good structure, acidity and concentration. Nicely complemented New York stripe steak. Bargain considering the price tag.

A wild and structural wine with lots of fruity, hints of animal. Developed well throughout the lunch. Worked well with red meats too given the level of tannins and acidity. Great QPR Bougogne.

BTG Dinner in SIngapore (Entourage Singapore): Btg. If there were a competition to find the highest ratio between the quality of the drink and the quality of the label, this would win it. A hint of black fruits on the nose, a lovely nearly rich mouthfeel and a just sour finish. Carries its 14% abv well and not a hint of jamminess. Would love to try in a more contemplative environment.

Third bottle in a couple months and the weakest (leaf day, I suspect.) The fruit was eclipsed by forest floor and shiitake elements on the nose and palate. More a classic Burg profile with the fruit going pom and structured with pu-erh and savory aspects. While good, I missed the racier fruit and pleasure that defined the prior two bottles.
