Stemmy. Beetroots. The red fruit is still present and hasn’t fully dried out. Very intense but I’m not certain if I, personally, like this style of wine

Bought a few of these, and the first bottle was definitely showing very 'young' and not quite as expressive as I had hoped. It has some depth, though, and I look forward to trying future bottles in the coming years.

I was a little nervous about opening this due to the other note seeming disappointed. I shouldn't have worried. we opened this about 2 hours before drinking and it was singing. bursting with bright red berry fruit and spice. very easy to drink and went exceptionally well with food. Tomoko says this is their favorite wine they made at Chantereves in 2018 and I can see why!

Similar notes to the previous bottle. It hasn't evolved much and seems in need of more time.

Crunchy berries and red fruit, followed by deeper darker notes which resolved into refreshing bitter cherry. Delicious. Companionable complexity.
