decanted, first hour a bit rough, after 2 hours so smooth and integrated.
really old school napa which i love. not the jammy over extracted adulterated flavored napa fruit bomb nonsense. my book that is flavored wine and should be labeled as such but thats a story for another time.
poker gang loved loved loved it. said they're not used to napa wine being so smooth
this bottle was at peak peak. i have another and feel should consume sooner rather than later.

dark purple. no brown noted. fruity full but not powerful nose. no tannin left. full bodied and fantastic palate. drinking well now. will not likely improve, but should keep well 5+yrs. The cork was soft and maybe only 1mm of wine at the edge. A very good seal.

(Beringer Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon) #2; COLOR-dark; NOSE-Oak & vanilla; nice black currant & cherry; underlying sandbox on the finish; TASTE-I'm impressed; vanilla & oak fruit bomb, but is contained by very impressive 2nd tier tannin structure; beautiful blackberry/currant jam on the mid-palate; followed by the Red Fruit River (Cranberries, Raspberries; Strawberries & Cherries); an Exceptional effort; will last for 10-15 years; RP-92/94; GV-93

Good color, body a little light. Nice berry berry from start to end. Short finish that was pleasant.
