'Familiar" Orange from 2019 is still a beauty to drink in 2022. I so wish this was still produced. It makes me lament the demise of the producer. Even more so that the winemaker's current Orange offering at Extradimensional so badly missed the mark for my palate...
Decanted for an hour. Yellow flowers, ripe apricot, melon, soursop, meyer lemon, fresh rosemary and yes, fresh orange. A hint of very fresh red fruit as well. Medium bodied with the softest hint of medium - tannin. Good acid too. Drink now or age it a couple more years. The best pairing I have found for this wine is a shrimp aguachile.

Loved this. Amazing floral aromas, intriguing spicy/ savory thing too. Served cold the acidity gives it a nice bite, and then as it warms you get some of the honey and richer mouthfeel. Sad this was my last bottle.

Decanted for 1h. Aromas of orange, ginger, herbs, flowers, a bit of ginseng, and minerals. On the palate, more savory w an accent of fruits. Ginger, herbs, beeswax, flowers, tart apples, meyer lemon. Excellent acids with mild tannins on midpalate. Medium body. Moderate salty, savory finish. Complex. The wine has become more savory than the first 2 bottles. Definitely more on the orange wine spectrum than the previous 2 bottles. I like this but have a slight preference for earlier bottles w a greater balance between the fruit and savory aspects.

As a note, we paired this with an hour decant with a southern shrimp boil and it was insane how perfect of a pairing it was.

Definitely needs to be decanted and it improved as it warmed from cellar temp. Impressive aromatics and interesting flavor profile.
