Very much made to jump on the Provence Rosé bandwagon Pale salmon pink, medium nose of peach, strawberry, raspberry, yellow apple, pear, lemon & grapefruit Dry, medium + acidity, low, firm but ripe tannin, medium (13%) alcohol, medium body, intensity and, slightly bitter finish. Expensively packaged in a fashionable, slightly squat bottle, ooh; heavy bottle & big punt, must be good! My Rosé last week was also from Montsant but it was more true to itself; darker colour, same range of flavours but with greater intensity with slightly higher alcohol and was half the price of this. Horses for courses, I suppose, but for me the winemaking is more important that being fashionable.
