  • Opened 3 hours before drinking, not decanted. Agree with community tasting window, this is very drinkable right now but will hold up for another 4-5 years.

  • Clear deep ruby; clean medium plus nose of black raspberry jam, vanilla, cocoa and herbs; dry; medium plus acidity; medium plus tannins; high alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus to pronounced flavour intensity; palate is slightly tarter with heaps of dark cocoa; long finish; made to be drunk young and drinking beautifully now; I’ll drink my remaining bottles over the next 3 years; fruit forward and well balanced - a grown up Cali Cab as you’d expect from this producer

  • PNP. Very deep magenta color. Milk chocolate, pomegranate, and cranberry jelly on the nose. Smooth, dry palate, with good acidity. Soft tannins on the medium short finish.

This is a rare Cabernet that drinks best upon opening. Decanting actually diminishes this guy. It’s a good drinker, but the finish is way too short. There are many better $50 bottles out there. I hope the ‘19 is better.

  • Three hour slow ox. Very deep ruby magenta color. Cinnamon brioche, black cherry, and dark raspberry on the nose. Smooth, dry palate. Firm, medium intensity tannins on the medium long finish. This is better without too much air.
