Good chilled a little bit. Ann thought it was vinegary, and perhaps it was, but this was a plus. This is a lot Pineau d'Aunis, I think. Fairly distinctive. Some tannins emerged after a while. Not sure we needed them with the acidity. Otherwise some spices, curry, white pepper. Definitely a lot of red vinegar. A red that's a white. Good summer red.

Drank this about a week ago -- sorry I forgot the tasting note at the time. Very different, but was certainly good that night. I recall it as spice, almost curry-like, which peppery fruit. I don't think this was all Gamay, but I'm not sure.
