St. Emilion Grand Cru Classés Walkaround tasting, so just short notes (Amsterdam): 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Perfumed bouquet with red and dark berries. Same impressions on the palate, full bodied, good acidity and sticky tannin.

Ripe fruit somewhat dominated by bramble. Fresh acidity, drying tannins, balanced phenolic bitterness. Needs time. At LA UGC.

Dark, lush, red fruits with black plums and coffee bean nuances form the core of the wine. On the palate, the wine is round, opulent, polished, and rich, with loads of black plums, licorice, and chocolate on the mid-palate and in the finish. This is already easy to taste, but a few years in the cellar will make it an even better wine. Drink from 2023-2035.

Im Auftakt gradlinig, straff, zeigt eine ordentliche Konzentration, wirkt dabei balanciert und sehr gut strukturiert, die Tannine sind markant, der Wein zeigt Charakter und Frische, hallt im Abgang lange nach, endet sehr würzig und frisch. Muss etwas reifen. 2025-2040
In der Nase feinduftig, mit roten und dunklen Beeren. Im Gaumen dicht, reife Frucht, herrliche Säure, die Gerbstoffe markieren, verleihen viel Struktur, die Frucht ist süss und reif, harmoniert sehr gut mit der Struktur. Im Abgang mit sehr guter Länge. Deep in color, the wine loads you up with its roasted coffee bean, smoke, licorice, herbs and cherry tinged perfume. Ripe, fleshy and fresh, with a blast of black cherries and oak in the finish, give this a few years to come together before pulling a cork. 90-92 Pts
