Well-balanced, tasty, expensive tasting...what more could you want in a Napa cab. Interesting wine. Expensive Napa fruit made by a Sonoma Pinot producer yields a this compelling wine. Although I said it was mostly balanced, it did seem like it could've used a little more acid, but for the most part, very enjoyable.

Nice cabernet with a medium body and a rather short finish. Did not consider it a value. Came in last against 4 other Beckstoffer wines from the 2017 vintage.

Very hard to find wine as production is very limited. Only the second vintage. Rich dark red color. Dark berry and slight undertone of dry caramel in the nose. Rich. Flavors of blackberry, molasses, burnt toast/a bit of caramel, espresso, and iron. Finishes with a touch of red apple peel and ever so slight high note of eucalyptus. Quite good and very elegant. A good example of what an excellent winemaker can do with great fruit. Needs time.
