Woody oak barrel and earthy blackberry on the nose. Slightly tart black cherry, blackberry and pine resin on the palate. Light/medium tannins on a medium length kirsch liqour finish. Blend of Petite Syrah (13%) and Petit Verdot (8%) adds the “deep purple” color and flavor and a dash of Malbec (2%) for softness and red fruit. Not bad at all for a $20 Livermore Cabernet. Good steak wine.

Good QPR. Mild coffee and spice. Not complex which is not expected for the price. Very enjoyable more so than restaurant wines by the glass at the same bottle price.

Great aroma on the nose, but disappointing on the palate. Almost non-existant tannin structure. No finish. Very muddled flavors. It's not expensive, but I expected a little more.

Not much there. Somewhat of a disappointment for a Cali Cab. Acidic on the brief finish. Better Cabernets out there for sub-$20
