Further evidence that 3-4 years is a very good length to allow CB SB to mature. It has developed almost a sweet edge to match and balance the natural acidity of the wine. Still lively and vibrant but now a rounded quality that adds appeal

Intriguing and a wonderful way to end a weekend trio of Southern Hemisphere wines. This has definitely evolved even in the six months since we last tasted it. Comparatively less cat’s pee or grassy gooseberry on both nose and palate with a slight limey finish and a hint of tropical fruit

Opened and slow ox’d (screw cap), with slight change over several days. Pale yellow color. Cat pee, grass, pineapple on the nose (with more transition to cat pee by day4). Grapefruit rind, pomelo, hint of pineapple and petrol, about 35-40 sec finish. Not my favorite style of sauvignon blanc but represents around the pinnacle of this style and does pair well with seafood. Decent QPR but not crazy about watching these prices creep up annually.
