  NV bottle from the 2018 vintage, disgorged in Sept 2020. Not impressed. On the positive, I commend the effort to make a non-dosage wine and you can see that they picked high quality grapes here as the wine is neither thin our sour. The issue must lie in the short aging on lees. There is simple no Champagne complexity in this wine. It drinks like a sparkler from anywhere in the world.

  En kult odlare som endast producerar 9.000-14.000 flaskor per år
  
  Vincent tog över vingården efter sin far i mitten/slutet på 90-talet och det ekologiska arbetet påbörjades redan i början av -70 talet… och George var då en av de första odlarna i champagne att jobba på det sättet! Familjen har ägt mark i Cumieres ända sedan slutet på 1600-talet
  
  Oj vilken annorlunda upplevelse, denna flaska är deg sep 2020 med basvin från 2018 och jag vet att det är en hädelse att öppna denna unga flaska redan nu… men nyfikenheten tar ibland kommandot över förnuftet… 😉
  
  Stor rund fyllig doft och en smak som mest kan beskrivas som rund och fet… Tur att jag köpte ett par flaskor till och det är med stor spänning jag gömmer undan de andra… denna blir spännande att ta fram om några år… om den funkar för resturang Noma i Köpenhamn att ha på vinlistan så är gissningen att den kommer att utvecklas till något speciellt!
  
  Druvmixen varierar från år till år men typ: chardonnay (50%), pinot noir (25%), pinot meunier (25%)

  Champagne Night (Perman Wine Selections - Chicago IL): Tasting, small glass, brief note. Dense and nicely powerful, yet with softer textures and effervescence. Also very bright, but less harmonious right now vs Garennes, with a slightly awkward and angular finish that needs a few years in the cellar to soften. Very good 91+ point potential, 2024 forward.
