Opened this bottle at Crab at Bay to celebrate my MIL's birthday with my family over lunch. We had cockles, fried fish skin with kai lan, har cheong gai, fried rice, prawn rolls, deep fried soon hock, fried sweet potatoes leaves with salted fish, fried pork cutlet, fried kway teow with chai po, chili crab with fried buns, and crab with fried been hoon.
Dark deep purple in colour. Tannins are formidable, do give the bottle a bit more air before drinking. Notes of black berries and prunes were evident with some deep oaky flavours and licorice.
Not well integrated yet. Give it a few more years before opening this bottle.

Good value easy drinking Bordeaux. Fully in agreement with Brussels1049. I doubt that I will keep my bottles long enough to find out if it’s age worthy or not.

Deep colour, no great complexity on nose or palate, but a satisfying mouthful, which is ready to go now (surprisingly young for a Cotes de Bourg) but might gain something from a year or two. Not nearly so good on Day 2, when acid dominated, so best drunk whilst the fruit is fresh.
