  • Medium ruby colour. Medium (+) and developing nose with ripe red plum, ripe strawberry, ripe wild raspberry, dried cranberries, forest floor, mushrooms, licorice, cinnamon, black pepper, smoke and violet. Medium taste of ripe red plum, ripe strawberry, ripe wild raspberry, mushrooms, forest floor, cocoa, wet leaves, cinnamon, anise, black pepper, licorice and tobacco. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Light tannins. Medium body. A very good Beaujolais Cru that has matured well with great savoury notes. Needed half an hour of air to open. Drink now. Goes well with beef, duck, mushrooms or pork.

  • 3h after opening. Lovely aromas of candies cherries, bubblegum, herbs and minerals. Palate w nice slightly candied cherries, minerals, a bit of bubblegum, and herbs. Medium body w excellent concentration and nice acids. Mild tannins on midpalate. Elegant texture. Nice finish of red cherries, herbs, and minerals. Elegant texture. But also delicious.

  • Took about 20-min to open up in bottle before pairing with grilled chicken, purple potatoes, and mixed salad. Perfumed nose of purple lavender, potpourri, grape compote, and sour candy. The palate is medium-light, round, and crunchy, bringing a nice core of blueberries, plums, sour rhubarb, and tea highlighted with red cherries and strawberries into a sweet finish. For my palate, it's still a little too sweet and hot on the tail so needs more time to balance out. Drink 2025-2030. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 90.

  • I served this in my wine course. Dark fruited nose of surprisingly ripe cherry and loads of loamy earth. Beautiful light weight mouth and long finish with crunchy tannins. Excellent.
