Starting to hit its stride. Full-bodied with Pinot Noir in the lead. This was a bit sharp 3 years ago, but it's now rounded out and acidity has softened. Delicious.

55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay based on the 2012 vintage. The grapes are sourced from the Les Crayères and Les Bermonts vineyards in the Grand Cru village of Ambonnay, and Les Loges and Les Hannepés in the Grand Cru village of Bouzy. Disgorged in September 2016. 2.4g/ltr dosage. This is labeled as Extra Brut. A very clean and precise wine with a solid bead. Mainly citrus notes. 90 points.

Very nice champagne with some funky cheese rind lemon, toasty elements. Acid is high, mouse is fine and elegant.

No dosage, very dry. Excellent, but I would prefer to lay this down a couple more years.

A very good example of classic champagne...honey on a nice sourdough, with a backbone to support it.
