Stupid good value for a wine this exuberant. Tons of ripe, verging on over-ripe strawberry and cranberry. Tart on the palate. Only fault is it might be too drinkable.

Schießpulver, rote Kirschfrucht, Gestein in der Nase. Rote Kirschfrucht und Cassis im Mund energiegeladene, strahlende Säure. Wenig Tannin, saftig-teeig. Mittlere Länge.

Cranberry, cassis, a bit floral, some herbs. Tart with lots of acid. Very low tannins. Benefitted from a chill and some air time. Honestly this left me a bit cold. I was expecting more given the character I’ve come to expect from Preisinger and Blaufränkisch’s pedigree in Burgenland. Still a tasty gulp but for this kind of red from Preisinger, I‘d go with Puszta.

Wine from my wife's wine club membership. Meant to up her alley and yes. Light, fresh, tart, fruit forward. Raspberry, yeast notes, almost a citrus notes of lemon, but it keeps moving between that and the raspberry. Some green pepper notes as well. Glad that I'm getting to try this style.
