Starting to take on an oxidative quality, this wine is actually becoming more attractive than the last time I tried it. While I wouldn't recommend cellaring much longer, considering the non-cork cork, this big, sweet but cutting wine could be very interesting for quite a while longer.

muscat-y, icewiney,bit-o-prune and orange and honey and apricot and went well with peaches with warmed Tellegio and creme brulee and chocolate profiteroles. Glad we went by the winery and actually drove in a few years ago.

Color: Dark gold. Nose: Orange marmalade, spice, almond. Taste: Mandarin orange, baked peach, golden raisin. Good concentration of flavors. Tropical fruit and nuttiness on finish. Acid spikes in mid-palate; acidity and sweetness seem to compete with each other rather than balance. Heavy, syrupy body.

Hmm--actually quite good. Very much an apricot/honey play, but with more of the muscat-y funkiness.

straw colored, full of fingers. Strong raisin, melon on the back of the tounge. Well balanced and not cloying - but satisfingly sweet as dessert.
