Nose: glucose, cherry, dark fruits: prune, plums, stinky Bordeaux funk. Nose tricked my wife into thinking old world French Bordeaux, possibly St Emilion, but palate made her think overextracted Californian. Palate: an assault of overripe, overextracted fruit; flabby; cherries dominate; reasonable tannins. Finish: short-medium, overripe fruit. Not really to our taste. Got it on sale for $50.

Lovely. Still young. Bought two bottles so will wait another year before opening the second in hopes that a little more time will bring it to its sweet spot.
