  • Good solid dry style, moderate age ability slate, apricot, lime, and a bit of crunch to this. Would buy again.

  • Apricot, honeycrisp apple, orange and lime blossom with good acidity (especially on day 2. This may not have the mineral intensity and creaminess that the high-level Alsatian Rieslings have, but it did develop some walnut and creamy characteristics and some limestone minerality on day 2. It has .7% residual sugar, but this feel pretty dry. It’s not easy to stand out with Riesling because there are so many top-level versions to contend with—this version isn’t a sophisticated as those top-level Rieslings, but it is good for the price ($20).

  • Lighter color. The nose shows lightweight aromas of citrus, orange blossom, minerals and a hint of peach. This is light bodied on the palate with decent concentration and good class. The medium length finish features good acid cut.

  • Day off from work can only mean riesling. Pours out very light straw...nearly colorless. Spritzy. Aromatic with scents of citrus zest, honeycrisp apple, and white flowers.

Light in body with fairly high acidity. Maybe I haven't drank a dry riesling in awhile, but the acidity here seemed nearly tannic with my gums seemingly sticking to my teeth. Not a bad thing though, since I love me some acid.

On the palate, you get the classic green apple notes along with mandarin orange, Meyer lemon, and a little mineral-y slate. There's a bit of RS here, but this still comes across pretty dry.

Really good stuff. Goes down too easily.
