Very nice tawny Port. Always enjoyable. I do prefer the 20 year old but that costs twice the price. The 10 year old has an excellent QPR. Highly recommend this wine.

tawny/garnet colour and medium body. subtle spices, caramel and nuts mingle with rich cherry, apricot and fig aromas. some layers in the mouth as the fruit has a macerated feel interspersed by herbal and spice touches. the sweetness is adequately balanced by a corresponding acidity and there is moderately good length.
20% AbV; ~100g/L RS

WSET2 Course Notes; 10/22/2023-11/5/2023 (WineHouse, Los Angeles): Appearance: Medium tawny. Nose: Roasted coffee, toffee, dates. Allspice and mint are there as well for some reason. Orange peel, maybe. Palate: Medium acidity, low tannin. Full body. Sweet, of course. 8/18. I have tried this wine before, my notes are slightly different but impression is the same.
