Brief, unscientific note: bright as a new penny, electric koolaid citrus character, vibrant herbal character. Good length. Wish I had more. Spring ragout (morels, asparagus, peas, mint, favas, perorino, shallots) over polenta. Very good.

Really enjoyable wine. Nose of citrus, apple and something like ripe cheese, like the rind of a Brie. Palate of lemon, green apple and a hint of apricot. Lovely oily, waxy mouthfeel, with a little effervescence at the end that is just perfect. Was great with a Caesar salad.

So I just had glasses of the 2022 ColleStefano Verdicchio and the 2021 Lunae Bosoni Vermentino Etichetta Nera, and that is making for a tough comparison right now with this wine. This may actually have the nicest nose, but surprisingly, or maybe just comparatively, it seems to be lacking in acidity on the palate. It is the oldest wine of the trio, so perhaps that has something to do with it.
Likable, but today this might finish 3rd in the race.

Had a glass while using most of this for cooking some Polpette con Pecorino e Limone. Consistent with my previous note. Lightly textured, bright pear, lemon and apple and a mineral edge. Nice wine.

Delicious white. Waxy minerality. Honey, citrus and green apple. Oily luscious and complex on the palate. Long finish.
