  All I could smell was black cherries at first, but some oak did come in. It is and is warm and welcoming on the nose.
  
  With the first taste there is this deep dark berry and the same black cherries as on the nose. There is some acidity and oak as well here.
  
  All in all, I think it is a great buy for the price and functions well as a daily and/or for guests who might not be super interested in wine.

  Was this something magical, addictive, mind-blowing or very good? No. But this was a bottle available at the local discount supermarket with some great QPR to go with your average weekday dinner!
  
  Nose had a fruity strawberry aroma, a bit of dark berries and some oak to finish it off. Pleasant but not much depth.
  Palate followed with the same fruitiness of strawberry and dark cherry with some oak/wood on the finish again. Great acidity but lacking the balance, complexity and depth of finer wines. Not much in the aftertaste/finish other than the acidity.
  On the 2nd day the acidity had actually subsided quite a bit showing a lot more fruitiness on both the palate and the aftertaste/finish.
  
  Overall I was really pleasantly surprised and I'm definitely buying this wine again if having dinner guests were wine isn't something special to them.
