PnP. The previous bottle didn't wow me and sadly this doesn't either, compared to previous vintages. Aromas of lemon, lime, spearmint, minerals. Not as expressive as other vintages. Flavors of lemon, lime, minerals, light oak. Good, but not at the level of previous vintages.

Pop and pour and enjoyed over 5 to 6 hours. First tatsed on its own and then with food (pork fried rice, in case you were wondering). Grassl Cru glass. Served at cellar temp, then chilled and allowed to warm up. Light golden straw color. Nose offers lemon and green apple. Some unripe pear too. Slight hint of vanilla. Delicious frsh and crisp intro with good acidity. Elements like a wll made Chablis. Some mineral notes. Lively and inviting. Mouthfeel has a touc of lemon oil, some viscosity and weight.
Quality cork with brand, vintage and wine (appellation). a lemon oil touch

This vintage is starting to shed the new oak. We opened it last night and I could sense that the vanilla tone from the past few bottles has begun to recede, now replaced by the acidity which has become into the foreground. Green apple, lemon (which becomes more curd-like when the wine warms up), and pear that mixes in a medium weight. In terms of the structure, still here, with a mineral/slate feel that is supporting into the finish. Overall, this has the Kutch signature of acid and minerality that is my palate these days and squarely in the style of Jamie's approach. Be curious to see how this continues to age but I like where it is heading.

PnP. Starts with lemon, lime, spearmint, minerals. Even after a couple of hours, the nose still seems muted. flavors of lemon, lime, minerals, light oak. This needs time to come together. Good, but at this point, doesn't wow me like previous vintages. Plan to wait at least a year before opening another.

See GHARTER notes as same apply here. All notes muted and at this point previous vintages appeal to us more.
