Way past drinking time, but not undrinkable. Stewed fruit and some black currant in the nose and palate. Some tannins and decent structure. Surprisingly refreshing acidity. Served blind and guessed 1980's left bank. Drink up.

Color: Ruby/Garnet center with an amber rim. Nose: very light and delicate perfume. A little heat, cooked raspberries/strawberries, pencil shavings, forest floor, damp earth, cinnamon. Palate: unbelievable silky mouthfeel. Tannins have completely dropped out of the wine. Quite savory on the palate, major sous bois, dark cherry notes, pencil lead.
Drink up. I would not hold this wine much longer. I think it is reaching the end of the plateau.

Cellar stink over dark hued fruits, sour on the palate and feels a bit ‘stripped’. Not sure if it’s flawed, just flat
