Last of three bottles bought in 2010. Everything I love about 2005 Napa wines; the deep chocolate, tobacco, pepper and black licorice. A bit muted on the mid-palate as it goes down but still a good finish. I imagine this is a little past it's peak but still drinking quite nicely. I would drink up if you have some.

This was unexpectedly good. Sweet plum fruit. Great depth and finish. Hard to not finish the entire bottle, but that would lead to a hangover (14.7% alcohol). Probably at peak but no rush if you have any.

shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the work week. last tasted 12/2016. the wine continues to show beautifully. generous nose. this continues to be a substantial cabernet with a chunky mouth feel. lots of blackberry. substantial tannin suggests that the wine can still develop further. would probably have benefitted from decant. a nice accompaniment to the beef. also enjoyed drinking by itself. it is almost a complete meal by itself. overall, better than many cali cabs that we have had thus far in our 47 year tasting experience. especially at this price point. alas, this is the last one. wish i had purchased more.

My bottle was still singing folks. About a half-hour of air and tasted great. Probably on the downhill side of prime, but no complaints whatsoever.
