BYO Homecoming: Blind. Ganske stor kropp, flott lengde og vitalitet, brukbar syre. Plasserete denne i Alsasce eller Østerrike, men bommet med 15-20 år.

Another great bottle, even better than the one we opened in 2015. Enjoyed over 3 days. Deep golden-yellow in colour, very complex on the nose - notes of bruised apples, quince, herbs, crushed stones, lemon zest. On the palate very mineral, almost salty, dried fruit, citrus fruit. Very intense, very long and lingering. A wonderful and unique expression of dry Riesling. No rush drinking up. 94-96

Maybe I should have decanted longer than I did. Salty, petrol, deep yellow (thought I may have had a slightly oxidized bottle, not sure, it was 20 yrs old) the acidity very present initially but softened over time. Was expecting a bit more but maybe did not stage it right.

Just a great bottle of wine in every way. Medium yellow color. Wonderful nose of petrol, yellow flowers, spices and some lemon. Loads of acidity and vibrancy. Got better over the couple hours we drank the wine - last glass was the best and most vibrant. On the palate this really explodes once its had a couple hours of air. Really fantastic.
