J-M's tasting notes are bang-on. This is a fantastic Chardonnay that straddles the line between New and Old World beautifully. Drinking exceptionally well in 2009

A very nice, relatively full throttled chardonnay. Not giving up much on the nose, good body with lots of buttery smoothness, some tropical fruits. Interestingly, unlike most Niagara chards that I've had this doesn't show excessive green apple, just a nice touch of it- a definite plus for me.

decanted for about an hour. bright straw yellow colour. nose expresses grap-ee citrus aromas, with some tertiary floral notes. elegant, polished attack blossoming into a well balanced fruit - green apple with unripe strawberries, dried cranberry and some lemon rind. The finish is long, carrying the fruity notes through with some good acidity balancing out the creamy vanilla oak tannins. Great mouthfeel. I tasted this before the decanting, and the oakiness was a little out of control, this one definitely needs a little time to settle down.
