  • This is a blend of 50% orange wine and 50% fermented in classic way. This preserved the mineral character while adding affiliate features. Mineral, slightly smoky with a fruit of citrus and blood orange, butterscotch and lemon curd. The palate mineral and more citric, but aromatic intensity drops and this was also lacking mid-palate.

  • First flight w this beautiful Anselmo Mendes cuvée - brisk, sappy w loads of energy, albeit not as complex as Parcela Única & Tempo. Brief skin contact provides for a shimmering slightly orange meeting pale straw-yellow expression in the glass. Somewhat reticent nose - flowers, barrel spice, citrus, slightly oaky. Razor-blade acidity meets a slim, oaked medium-bodied palate, bursting w liveliness, wet stones, only a bit of vanilla & grip towards finish, closing on a bone-dry, mineral & citrus-driven note. Moreish!
