Two hour slow oxidation. Drank over three days. A medium ruby core fading to a pale ruby outer edge. A rich, dark fruit-driven, cedarwood spiced, purple flowered, mushroom-infused nose. The sleek palate reveals tart yet sufficiently ripe red berries, earthy elements of damp potting soil, and Sichuan pepper. A very pleasurable Burgundy.

NSG 1er Lunch at Nicolas. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of menthol, green leafy vegetation, soil earth. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of leafy menthol, savoury earth, spice, tangerine, sweet ripe red cherries. Long finish. Very good quality. Nice and pleasing.

Mature PN, with dark fruits, smoke, spices and leather. Tannins are smooth, a good wine, maybe missing some energy on palate and nose

Yeah, this is terrific. Michel makes a blend of Murgers and Vingerondes. More Vosne than Nuits. Deep and tart. Love.
