Double blind. Some bricking with a bit of sediment, definitely older. Aromas of tea leaf and sour cherry along with rose petal ad spice. Good fruit on the palate, with cherry and currants. There's a touch of candied cinnamon as well. The acidity is bright and it finishes with nice length. On account of the acidity and secondarily the fruit, I thought this was Burgundy. Guessed 2002 Burg.

Brought to dinner by BillHike. Red fruit and a touch of smokiness. Fairly simple and straightforward. Perhaps it is over the hill as implied by some of the other notes. Not a bad PN on of it's own accord as long as you don't think about the price. When that is taken into account you could find better at 1/2 the price (or even cheaper). If you have them you may want to finish them up..

I was pleasantly surprised that this wasn't an overly ripe Cali Pinot. Strawberry, cherry, dried herbs. Horrible QPR. This was gifted to us. I would put it on par with something like A to Z from Oregon. Decent, but nothing memorable.

Needs quite a bit of time to blow off bottle funk. Underneath is a delicate wine with floral notes and light mouthfeel. At end of window. Was better when it had more vitality. Drink soon, be patient and don't expect a fabulous wine. It's very good, but that's all.

Great Pinot. Sorry it was my last bottle. Perfect balance. Very complex.
