  • No Detailed Notes - Rich and creamy nose, almost overwhelmingly dark cherries with the addition of a medicinal and loamy note in the background. Completely soft texture with a fading and slightly hot finish. Palate follows the nose. Definitely drink now, I cannot imagine much improvement over time. This bottle anyway, felt like it was starting to fall apart.

  • Still nicely fresh with ripe strawberry and blueberry with sweet spice. Good+ weight and length, with a bright start, then a slightly warmer finish that detracted from the overall finish. Overall good.

  • Ripe dark fruit, spice and undergrowth. Fruit with a savoury edge. Big but not flabby, backed by powdery tannin. Very enjoyable example of pinot at this end of the spectrum. (92 Very good wine)

  • Wow. This is one big Pinot. Drank over two days. Concentrated and intense, highly aromatic, with sweet dark fruits and spice trouncing all over a few herbal notes in the background. There is some mid palate depth and enough acid to keep this from being too sweet or flabby, but this wine just walked all over the duck we had. This vintage is really coming across as a cocktail wine to be drank on its own, rather than a food wine. It is tasty and pleasurable, but would possibly pair better if you considered it more like a Syrah. Day two- the entry and mid palate soften and lose a little energy, the acid continues to keep the wine in check. Still prefer this wine as a solitary drink on day two.

(Antica Terra Pinot Noir) From Oregon’s riper “California vintage,” this spicy Pinot is all about silky fruit. It’s dark garnet in color, with candied plums, cherries, and smoky spice on the nose. On the palate, crushed raspberries mingle with noticeable acidity, blood-orange juice, nutmeg, leather, and minerals. Cult Wines for Tough Times

(Antica Terra pinot Noir) #3; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-very heavy manure action; classic poop/barnyard nose; opening up w/ some raspberries; TASTE-some bright fruit; I get a rose petal component; sour cherry on the mid-palate; some green garnish action; manure; dominated by cherries afterwards; some raspberry; little tobacco leaf on the back-end; forest floor; nice mouthfeel; very smooth & elegant; missing a little on the mid-palate; solid, but a little forgettable; JR-90; GV-88
