Hot and spicy on the nose. This is a very aggresive Pinot. I find the palette overwhelmed by the heat. The structure is disjointed and the finish is hott. This wine is not good and the first bad Pinot I've had from SRH.

Really good! Got a great deal on a case for $16 a bottle. A nice SRH pinto. Very well balanced and solid. Earthy and spicy. Aromas of strawberry and red fruit. Tastes like earthy fruity goodness.

Not nearly as good as previous vintages. A lot of alcohol on the nose and back palate. Nice fruit near the end of the bottle, but would have definitely benefited from a decant. Still young with potential. Formal notes to come.

Medium ruby. Moderately intense, perfumey nose of cherries, clove and raspberries. Medium-bodied on the palate, with medium acidity, light tannins and flavors which mirror the nose. The middle palate thins just a bit, but a medium-length finish is resurrected. Drink now-12/12.

Stimmel's Market: The Grapes of Wrath (Bowling Green, OH): Juicy Burgundian nose. Half-way between Burgundian and Californian on palate. Somewhat bright, light tannins, medium body. Very juicy, spicy. Quite tasty. $37
