  My bottle has been stored for at least the last ten years in a wine fridge. A fridge that resets to 45° every time the power goes out. So it’s likely been colder than cellar temperature for a while. So it seemed to be fresher than what some recent reviewers have experienced. After a two hour decant, it still has aroma, fruit, acid and tannin. The finish has some floral and tar notes. I’m glad I didn’t wait any longer.

  Intense perfume, violet, fur trees and thyme. Medium bodied, dry herbal taste with floral undertones. Medium finish and should maybe have been drunk a year or two earlier.

  On the nose, Leather, licorice, cherry and some soil.
  On the palate, Cherry, licorice, violet, fine and very balanced acdity.
  Medium + finish.

  Decanted for an hour, needed the air to open up. Strong, clean rasberries with a touch of rose petals on the nose, very nice. On the palate, the wine is quite elegant, with red currant and rasberry, strong tannins and good acidity. A young Barolo but drinking well now, very enjoyable!
