Once again let me state that I love old wine. I love it's complexity, melancholy resolution (most of the time) and certainly unique flavors which are undiscoverable anywhere.
Like my last tasting the wine has a presence of berry, aromas right from the start. Still quite acidic but.... a slightly rotted strawberry flavor and blueberry present the majority of the flavors. While I continue to believe it's past its best days the wine is unique and melancholy.

First let me state that I love old wine. I love it's complexity, melancholy resolution (most of the time) and certainly unique flavors which are undiscoverable anywhere.
Strong berry aromas right from the start. In mouth an acidic reaction start with fruits of slightly overripened strawberry with a rotted blueberry tinge. Clearly past its best day this wine is unique and not at all melancholy.
Lively acidic at mid palette with an acidic dominant finish. Short lingering berry mostly hidden and masked by the unbalanced fruit/acidity.
Not great but I do appreciate the aged character. I am going to let this sit for 24 hours and see if there is any resolution.

Awesome - unexpected structure still there (!), very viable 97 Cab with balanced tannins and black fruit, one of three in cellar, graphite, stone, black currant/blackberry/plum, explosive on palette, still amazing!

No improvement in 24 hours. It actually got more unbalanced with a sour and tart in mouth flavor.
