Day 1: the wine needs time! First sip was very acid-driven. No fruit, ironic. - put away for 2 hours. Then the wine was ready. Fresh, polished nose of wet stone, bell pepper, kardamom. Got better with every sip
Kept up 1/2 of the bottle for the next day (cooled in the frige)
Day 2: the wine even improved. Beautiful and expressive nose with the same impression as day 1. Mouthfeel was smooth, melted tannins.
Overall a beautiful nice wine that was very good, but not great. Very Saint-Estephe-typical! Good Quality/Price-Range! Think it will improve with age. Keep or drink, but then you have to let it breathe for hours!!! 91++

A little better than two years ago. More resolved. Youthful maturity, classic mellow Bordeaux with plenty of bramble and red fruits. Everything in balance. Solid wine.

Leather and tobacco with notes of plum and blackberry. Tannins are medium, mostly from the grapes. Acidity is medium. Mouthfeel is medium-light. Overall, it drinks well and seems like it has peaked.
