Much, much better than the previous bottle which was showing a little too much oak. This is really harmonious, great texture and acidity with spices, lemon and pear with a touch of wood. Really fresh. Will keep improving for a few more years I think.

Better than the btl of this I had 2 years ago (at that time I felt the wine had started to decline). This one was still singing with great ripe pear, stone fruits, rocks and minerals.

Oxidized into oblivion. Bummer, considering how good the last one was.

Another closeout bottle purchased a few years ago. Bruised apples and quince. Good acidity and weight.

Very typical Savennieres. Has lost a bit of crispness, but remains nice acidity, citrus, and mineral. A nice wine for a Sunday afternoon with cheese.
