Tasted this during the Willie's Chocolate & Wine Masterclass organised by Wine Exchange Asia. Paired with the Los Llanos Gold Chocolate.
Gold in colour. Chocolaty nose with honey, fig, raisings, toffee, caramel and dates. On the palate the wine is sweet, lush, viscous and pleasing. The chocolate brough the wine to a higher plane when paired, bringing out a tangy, layered sensation.

Fantastic. Much lighter and brighter than most Spanish PX. Very smooth, wonderfully sweet but in no way cloying. Plenty of richness, caramel, but with enough acidity to keep it fresh and clean with a long but light finish. A really lovely and interesting wine.

This is the one that I remember from the Thunder Cruise. So good! Sweet but not overly so, with nutty notes on top of the dried fruit flavors.
