Found this in my cellar, well past drink by date. Very nice. Might have had more fruit when younger but still drinking well. Good color with no brown edge. Medium long finish.

Decanted an hour plus; fruity (blackberry, raspberry and blueberry) on the nose and palette. Just a hint of garden soil/compost; touch of cedar humidor; still decently tannic and astringent after an hour. Big fan of August Briggs. A hidden gem.

A velvety, well integrated wine, but lacking some structure to make it great. However, very enjoyable and a great combination with lamb.
