I am not sure if it was me or if this wine has simply not gone to where I thought it would, but on this night, it was not nearly as exciting as my previous experience. Toasty new oak up front and very tropical with pineapple and papaya. Their was spiced vanilla bean on the palate and showed decent acid.

This Chardonnay stood up amazingly well with a lobster, garlic, white wine and butter saute. And some bacon wrapped scallops. Buttery and smooth. Makes you want for more. Not a white wine fan, but I wish I had a case (or a cellar) of this stuff. Silky smooth (according to my husband)....buttery and oaky. Seriously, this is a smooth, luscious chardonnay... that far surpasses your run of the mill 'great chard'

This chard has lots of power, but is nicely balanced with some crisp character, too. The citrus extends as far as orange, and there's some stone fruit and pear, too. Some minerals and baking spices, too. Bright and enjoyable.

Drank at Seagrass. Wonderful Chardonnay. Beautiful tropical fruits with wonderfully balanced acidity and nice undertones of oak and minerality. There seemed to be almost a pineapple creme brulee vein running through the nose that was very enjoyable.
