Still very enjoyable, though it appears to have hit its peak. The tannins are fully integrated, the nose is full of dark fruit and wet earth. It is smooth and wide on the palette with a bit less fruit now and a hint of carmelization. Finish is moderate. Drink up over the next 2-3 years.

Nose that was not Washington in nature. Wet earth, black fruit. Wonderful mouthfeel right out of the bottle. Thick and lush. Completely integrated tannins that made this a pleasure to drink. Strong sweet fruit. Limited complexity and depth but enjoyable.

Served this with a small NY steak prepared with only salt and pepper. This bottle is starting to show its age as the color is showing some bricking on the rim. It opened up with leather, root beer, smoke and some hints of dark fruit. As was my worry the fruit is starting to disappear. There are still some tannins that show this wine still has some life but how much? Drink up

Coming together nicely. Very refined with a full mouthfeel. Tannins are still slightly evident, but the wine is nearing its peak. Probably hit the top in 2005 with it lasting another 5 years.

Very smooth and refined. Pletty of fruite and a joy to drink. Very balanced, but has enough tannins to age for some time.
