Pop and pour. Extremely attractive nose. Balance to die for. Not in the least bit hot like most of the 07 Rhone's. It used to be hot and stereotypical of the 07's, but not this one. Very enjoyable. Not boring. I look forward to the whole bottle, not just one glass. Lucky I guess.

Consumed over 2 days (vacuvined), note from day 2. Nose: Medium-plus expressiveness, candied fruit - grape jolly rancher, raspberry, with hints of licorice and black pepper - there is a lot going on here for an $11 bottle of wine. Palate: Medium bodied, nice mouth-feel, good balance, blueberry and red fruit - pomegranate and cranberry up front, a little thin thru the mid-palate. but there is a nice spice driven back-end kick. Finish: Medium length dominated by blueberries and spicy red fruit. Drinking wonderfully tonight and has the stuffing to last another 3 - 5 years.

Past its prime. Drink up.
Drank over 60 minutes and literally between sips, it went from flavor profile to non-existent.

Pretty big wine. Lots of charcoal and smoke, plum, raspberry. The oak is a little heavy for the fruit, but it's still tasty. Full bodied, long finish.

Fully ready. Excellent balance, tanins are integrated and part of the wine.
