tasted at large walkaround tasting. simple and sweet, but tasty. the rep was trying to sell this as a replacement for an after dinner port -- i may be stuck in my ways, but just can't see that! light grapey ripe pear, with some light floral notes.

Thursday Evening Tasting at Best Bottle (Best Bottle, Columbia, SC): No apologies here, this one is a little sweet and may not work everywhere, but definitely has it's uses. Might occasionally have some merit as the first taste of the day when you don't feel like an acidic Sauvignon Blanc. This is the real thing, not an afterthought for this producer., the quality and intensity are readily apparent. Rich golden color. Honey, jasmine, citrus and minerals on the nose. Expressive, intense and refreshing orange, peach, other citrus and honey flavors. Just enough acid to keep things credible. Long, lingering finish and aftertaste.
