For the last fast of Advent I wanted a PN that goes with salmon raviolis with Alfredo sauce. This wine was fantastic. Balanced, light but with a complete range of flavors. Most enjoyable. The fruity cloying flavors for which this vintage is known are long gone leaving a great balanced wonderful wine.
Oregon Pinot Noir is grossly underrated. Others think this wine should have been consumed 6 years or more ago. I have found that well made Oregon Pinot Noir is often still developing at its “end” date. I would not want to keep this wine a lot longer past now, but it would not surprise me if someone opens a bottle in a decade and has a similar opinion then to mine today.

Black berries throughout with dark chocolate and baking spice hints. Good+ balance and good depth. Still drinking amazingly well for a $20 bottle pre-release from the winery.

Black berries throughout with savory spice hints and very good balance. Slightly fresher vs another bottle from earlier this year, but still best to enjoy by 2018 or so.

Drank alongside the Broadley 2008 Reserve. Mature black berries with spice hints and moderate weight and length. Much like another bottle from a year ago.

Black berries with spice and cocoa hints. Moderate weight, very good balance. A simple, but very good $20 bottle of wine. Did not fade over the 3 hours open, but still probably best to drink in the next year or two.
