wish i had more of this guy...a great syrah...for $20 bones, really stood out from the night's tasting. Brought classic dark fruits with pepper and spice and it left an impression on the palate for about 20 seconds. Wish they made more of this one!

Just great. This wine is, I think, 100% Syrah, but I could swear there is Viognier in it, and maybe even something else. It had a very small production run (20 cases!), but it is delicious! Brief white flower aromas give way to a wine loaded with deep plum flavors with brown spices and a tinge of blackberry. While the wine is delicious, it could be better if the finish were not as 'syrup'-y as it was. I am splitting hairs because it was not at all overly extracted, sweet or syrupy, but that is the best word to describe what I didn't like about the very end of the finish. Otherwise, these folks who make it should be given a pat on the back. Nice wine! 89pts.
