What a pleasant surprise. I thought a 15 year old Cali Pinot would be well past its prime, but I was wrong. This is still drinking wonderfully and I believe has at least a few more years left. The alcohol is still there, but well integrated with fruit, acid and tannins. Everything in harmony. I agree with previous reviewer about the fleshy structure.

Clear. Medium garnet in color. Clean nose of medium plus intensity. Cranberry, redcurrant, dead flowers, preserved strawberries, raw wood. It’s a fully developed nose. Dry on the palate, med+ acid, med- tannins as time has tamed them down, med alcohol and med body. The texture is fleshy and the mouthfeel is silky. The flavors resemble the nose but there is also a clear note of Chambord. The finish is of medium plus length. This is a good wine that has aged gracefully. I’d drink it now. No reason to wait.

Dried flowers and red cherry aromas and flavors, both ripe and mature. Plenty of sweet spice and cherry cola. Good weight and density. Good now, unlikely there is much upside.
Lovely rose petal aromas that many of the good WS wines demonstrate Fruit and structure is fading, with just enuf complexity to make up for it. Still has a cedary oak note that seems to be outlasting the fruit. My last bottle, and would have likely preferred drinking this a year or two ago. Otoh still pretty good
