Beautifully aged and open on the nose with notes of apple purée, varnish, honey and chalk. Dry and fullbodied palate with oily feel, saline touch and refreshing grainy acidity. Wet wool, nuts and chalk character. Long. Powerful, stylish and perfectly balanced. Lovely stuff. @Pinella.

This was the fifth of my formerly six bottles and definitely the best so far. The fill was quite high. The colour did not show very strong signs of age (unlike two other bottles I had of this Chablis Grand Cru). In the nose, there are hazelnuts and there's a hint of nutmeg. There are citrus fruits, there's quite a bit of vanilla. The wine is medium-bodied, a tiny bit flat in the middle, but has a divine balance between acidity, dryness and a hint of residual sweetness. I like this a lot.

Bakt sitron, kalk, honningmelon, hint av lime og stikkelsbær. Bra syrespenst og trøkk alderen tatt i betraktning. Lang ettersmak og god mineralitet.
