  • For its type, an excellent bottle and an excellent choice! Opened almost a week ago, in large measure because of CellarTracker's advice that it's over-the-hill; but it's still quite bright and lively. Rich black cherry and other dark fruit flavors, good garnet color. This bottle had significant sediment, but no other issues. The remaining half-bottle after opening was VacuVin sealed & refrigerated for a week, with no loss of quality or readiness to enjoy. Originally paired with pork chops, later with grilled lamb & vegetables; nicely complimented each pairing. Very happy with this one ... this is where unknown provenance (other than CNdP) becomes a serious problem. Wish we had more!

  • Enjoyed with a light supper of cheese, humus and greek salad. Nice dark fruit and vanilla. Medium bodied for a CNdP. Good finish. Accompanied this light ripaste well!
