Picked up a loaner on the shelf of a local retailer. Not expecting much but for $12 what the heck. Nice peppery dark nose. Dark fruit, bit of olive, integrated tannins. Not too shabby and certainly worth gamble.

Deep ruby color. Nose of cherries, blueberries, some dried fruits and some cedar wood. On the palate there are notes of dark fruits again, some tobacco, herbs and some dried fruit again as well as some licorice. Medium-full body, with medium and medium-low tannin, it has a still pretty remarkable structure for an aged wine in this price-range. Medium length. When i first pulled the "cork" and realized it was synthetic, I thought it might be over the hill... But it's still in perfect condition. A very good Garnacha from old vines at a very affordable price. (89+)

Big theme of dark berries........cherries and blueberries. An earthy touch. The pros say it is past its drink window. While it is time to drink this one up, it is not over the hill. Great PQR. I have two bottles left from a case. Need to find another vintage of this particular wine.

Still OK, but is fading. This was my last bottle. Drink up.

Bought and forgot. A lot of pepper in the finish. Deep rusty red color. Better than I remembered.
