As a rose of Pinot it is well done, but my preference for rose leans toward the rhone varietals. I can't identify what it is, but there is an aftertaste that I don't like. This is definitely not a sipping wine and needs pretty substantial food.

Sweeter, more full bore on the fruit character as a rose. 100% pinot which they pick a little bit earlier than they might otherwise would. Tastes like a Pinot to me. For $19 the wine works.

Wonderfully dry and complex with notes of strawberry, cherry and spice.

Off-puttingly sour.
