I guess it takes a bit for time. Great vintage and it shows now. Fairly simple nose of forest floor and some baked berries. Lovely palette showing a lot of dark cherry, a hint of vanilla and a nice line of eucalyptus at the finish. Long finish. Tannins have served the purpose. This guy just knows how to make wine. What a bargain when purchased. Served with grilled NY strip. Very nice, shame it’s the last one.

Simple nose, a little bit of nice cab barnyard funk at then. Modest black fruits hit the mouth first and then a sharp, pepper finish. Full disclosure, I'm not a Pozzan fan as his wines are always quick in the mouth with a real hot pepper rather than long tannin finish. Thought i would let one age longer and see if it mellowed but no luck. Will try the rest of the bottle tomorrow.

Very fruity with mild tannins, oak on the nose.

Some sulphur on the nose. The palate is big with stewed dark fruits. Red and black fruit tones, but very cooked in style.
